Timing and benefits of a prehistoric routine:

The best time to immerce your face, is as soon as you wake up in the morning.
Why? Because, this method, used by our ancestors for its many benefits, is still a popular, temporary beauty and wellness technique today.

According to science it reduces facial inflammation, puffiness, and redness. It has also tightening effects, increased circulation properties by bringing oxygen and nutrients to skin cells. You will notice also a boost in your energy

Step by step preparation

1-Gather your Tools
-a small round plastic bassin
-small clean towel
-medium size towel
-tap water for now later ice cubes

2-Set up water temperature:
-start with water from the sink.
-As you get used to it, gradually add a few ice cubes.
-The temperature should be cooler, test with one finger.
-After a week or so, start adding ice cubes to the water.

3-Face Immersion:
-wrap the medium towel on your head to keep hair away from your face
-lower your head on your tap water bassin, take a deep breath, hold it for 10 seconds and submerge your forehead, eyes, and at least half of cheeks.
-come up, exhale for 15 seconds
-repeat: 3 rounds of 15 seconds.
-Note: As you get used to this water immersion, increase the breathing hold time gradually to 30 seconds.
-Gently, pad dry your face with the small towel.

Moisturizing

Once your face feels dry, apply your favorite organic moisturizer.

Here at the lab, we started doing this little routine, and we loved it so much that we decided to post it. We believe in practices that already were used and proven. No chemicals are present, If you have distilled water, apply it at the end of the submersion, if not tap water still works. Also you can boil tap water the nigt before and use it in the morning.
